COME TO SPAIN.

So it has been almost two years since I last blogged about anything; mainly because I had no source of Internet in 2013 (not because I retreated into some mythical, Internet-free land or Mayan jungle but because I was simply too poor/lazy/the year ran away from me ok). But now that I have a (free) connection to cyberspace and am feeling inspired to get back into the world of blogging:  here I am. And what better way to reintroduce yourself to the virtual world than with a smorgasbord representation of your amazing, charmed life… Jokes. But not really.

Lately I have rediscovered my love for Pinterest and am craving some kind of travel and adventure, so I have decided to post about my most recent trip to Spain with my cousin Gregg and his incredibly special – and generous – parents, my uncle Joel and aunt Jenny. The Joburg Levy’s pretty much ensured my survival in 2013, looking after me in too many ways to mention during my big year in the big city. 2013 was a toughie, no doubt, but I was fortunate enough to have a very supportive and loving network of family and new friends to get me through a pretty challenging year. That familial love and kindness culminated at the end of the year with the Levy’s inviting me to come with on a trip to Spain and Amsterdam over Christmas and New Years. UM, DON’T MIND IF I DO.

So here are some of the 800 photos taken on the most unbelievably beautiful adventure with my family (all captured on my iPhone 4S nogal). Have a look and have a laugh – I became mildly obsessed with ironic and stupid selfies on this trip; don’t ask.

Amsterdam , Madrid, Marbella (in a palace, I am not even joking), Barcelona for New Years where all four of us – ballies included – jolled our balls off at OPIUM in Barceloneta on the beach, and Amsterdamage to end it all off. Yes, I just called it Amsterdamage and yes that is because of the obvious reasons. DUH.

xxx until next time
